TheCraig Stevenson-led company confirmed Thursday that it had acquired the trio ofships from the Cargill-owned investment fund manager.
Itadded that a group of funds managed by CarVal had become a “significantinvestor” in its clean product tanker business.
RanjitAhluwalia, managing director of CarVal, will join Diamond S Shipping’s board ofdirectors.
The identity of the ships involved was not disclosed, nor was the size or value of CarVal's investment.
