Kayne Anderson, a major investor in shipping MPLs, has bought an additional 360,406 units in KNOT, SEC filings show.
The latest move lifts its holding in the Trygve Seglem-led owner from 10.24% to 12.36%, filings said.
Based on the latest trade of the units, Kayne Anderson’s total investment is worth just shy of $55m.
In its own SEC updates, Kayne Anderson revealed it had investments in shipping MLPs running to $245m last August.
