Analysts believe the Singapore-listed firmis in line for NOK 14bn ($2.35bn) worth of new contracts this year rather thanthe NOK 11bn previously thought.

A hat trick of fresh shipbuilding orders lastweek took the company’s year-to-date orderbook close to the NOK 5bn mark withless than three months of the year on the clock.

They include a contract for a subsea vesselfrom compatriot offshore shipowner Solstad which is thought to be worth in theregion of NOK 2bn and will be the single largest vessel the company has ever built.
