Wagenborg has ordered a new “walkto work” offshore ship in the Netherlands.
The vessel, designed to transfer workers quicklyand easily to rigs in the North Sea, will be delivered early in 2015 from RoyalNiestern Sander Shipyard.
KfW IPEX-Bank said it is supplying a loanof EUR 36.5m ($49.67m) for the vessel.
The ship is being chartered by NederlandseAardolie Maatschappij (NAM), a joint venture of Shell andExxonMobil.
