The service will operate between four Omani ports and three Iranian terminals, the Times of Oman reported.
An agreement will be signed by the end of the year and the trade between Iran and Oman is expected to become more regulated.
According to the latest statistics of Oman’s ministry of commerce and industry, the value of Oman’s imports from Iran stood at OMR 216m ($0.56m).
