The Chinese heavy-lift specialist said it made CNY 191.78m ($31.3m) to 30 September, compared with a CNY 42.79m loss in the same period last year.
Revenue was CNY 5.47bn, down 3.2%, while operating profit reached CNY 6.83m, compared with a CNY 112.54m loss in 2013.
The company offers heavy-lift, liner, car transport and bulk shipping with its mixed fleet.
In July, it ordered a 50,000-dwt semi-submersible heavy-lifter at CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding in China.
