Several shares posted double-digit gains in trading Wednesday including the likes of Knightsbridge Shipping, Tsakos Energy Navigation (TEN) and DryShips.
Knightsbridge ended the day over 13% higher, while DryShips was up by close to 11% on bullish comments on the drybulk sector.
Earlier in the day a trio of analysts claimed bulker stocks were oversold and headed for improvement after taking a beating in recent weeks.
