Teichert and the supervisory board have agreed to extend his contract until 31 December 2017.
The other member of the management board, Joachim Seeler, who joined in 2012, will leave on 31 January next year, however.
Seeler, who is in charge of real estate, sales and trusteeships, decided not to renew his deal to devote himself to political duties.
The future composition of the management board will be decided soon, the company said.
