The world’s largest VLGC owner is tipped to record a profit of more than $100m in three months to the end of September in what Danske Bank says will be the first quarter of super-cycle earnings.

Danske analyst Bjorn Kristian Roed predicts Oslo-listed BW LPG will report a bottom line gain of $124m for the period, $10m clear of consensus.

Roed said in an earnings preview his figure is based on expectations of BW LPG’s spot trading VLGCs earning $84,900 daily in the quarter.
