Night auditor Anthonius Novi Hartanto, 42, is accused of stealing more than $10,000 from the 83,000–gt Noordam (built 2006) during three voyages from Florida in November, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.
The Sun Sentinel reported he was charged with 11 counts of grand theft.
The amounts involved range from $500 to $1,320.
Hartanto confessed to taking the stolen cash to a location outside the port and wiring it to his bank account in Indonesia, detectives said.
