Shares in the John Fredriksen-led owner raced up by over one fifth in morning trading.
At the time of writing, its stock was changing hands at $3.08 each, a 20.31% rise. It followed similar stellar gains for its Oslo-traded shares today.
Other tanker owners were also on the rise. Tsakos Energy Navigation was trading up more than 6% at the time of writing, with DHT Holdings progressing by over 3% and Teekay Tankers by a fraction more.
