The Chinese shipbuilder said net income was down 14% to CNY 630.6m ($100m) from the CNY 733m seen in 2013.
Revenue for the quarter came in 12% higher on a year ago at CNY 3.8bn, while costs rose by 50% to CNY 2.9bn.
Yangzijiang attributed the increase in revenue to the delivery of nine vessels during the quarter versus six a year earlier.
