Former BP chief executive Hayward received $1.056m last year, Glencore’s annual report said today.
This marks a rise from $742,000 in the previous year, during which Hayward slipped into the chairman’s chair on an interim basis from May. He took the job full time in May 2014.
Glencore’s top earner was billionaire chief executive Ivan Glasenberg.
Glasenberg, who has refused any bonuses since the company went public, took home $1.447m
