The second fire to hit the Petrojarl Knarr in six months struck yesterday just a few days after the FPSO achieved first oil.
Michael Webber, an analyst at Wells Fargo, says the unit was set to dropped down to the MLP in March or early April but he suggests the incident will likely lead to a delay.
“According to our channels, there were no injuries, the fire was contained to one room, emergency services did not travel to the scene, and an investigation into the cause has already begun,” Webber wrote.
