Wells Fargo has upgraded shares in Evangelos Marinakis-backed Capital Product Partners.

Analyst Mike Webber raised the MLP from market perform to outperform despite macro-economic headwinds hurting the peer group.

With a 14% yield on offer for Capital investors, Webber says the risk premium assigned to shipowner is “generally wide enough that it's worth taking a swing at here”.

He argues Capital’s two key markets, crude and products tankers, should act as tailwinds for the unit price, separating it from others offering double digit yields.
