Atlantic Navigation Holdings, the Singapore-registered parent company of Dubai-based offshore operator Atlantic Maritime, has reached an agreement with US-based private equity fund SCF Partners to partly finance the purchase of the 7,900-gt jack-up offshore construction vessel AOS Mariner I (built 2015).
The vessel, which was built by Chinese offshore engineering contractor De-Sail Group, was acquired by Atlantic in November for $56m, a price that is inclusive of vendor-supplied equipment, retrofit and mobilization costs.
