US shipping stocks took another big hit Monday as China’s shares sank but broader New York markets were mixed.
At least 10 shipping stocks were down by more than 10% in afternoon trading in New York, with owners of bulkers, tankers, LNG carriers and offshore vessels all represented in the list of leading decliners.
The Dow Jones Global Shipping Index plunged by 2.8%
