US fund manager Blackrock, with some $4.5tn under management, revealed it has taken a larger piece of cruise ship operator in a recent regulatory filing.

Blackrock reported increasing its stake in New York and London-listed Carnival to 18 million shares, representing a 9.5% stake in Carnival. That is up from an 8.5% stake reported last February.
