Norwegian lender DNB has posted loan impairment losses of NOK 2.27bn ($265m) for 2015.

This is up NOK 631m from 2014, with NOK 1.42bn coming in the fourth quarter.

The bank said there had been an increase in individual impairment losses in the shipping and offshore segment, offset by reversals of NOK 1.06bn in the personal customer segment.

Fourth quarter provisions arose from large corporate and international clients in shipping, offshore and energy.
