APM Shipping Services has turned its attention to growth with the expansion of Svitzer the most likely early beneficiary.
Morten Engelstoft, chief executive of AP Moller-Maersk’s fifth core business area, explains work on improving financial performance and strengthening the foundations of the business areas has paved the way for it to look at fresh investments.
Engelstoft, speaking to TradeWinds after the division reported strong 2015 results, said: “A company like Svitzer is one area we would be looking to grow.”
