India’s Essar Shipping has reduced its loss for the third quarter as revenue increased.

The net deficit for the tanker and bulker owner was INR 1.1bn ($16.07m) to 31 December, it said.

This compared to a loss of INR 1.15bn in the same period of 2014.

Revenue stood at INR 1.84bn, up from INR 1.73bn the year before.
