Peter Anker has sold Clarksons shares worth $4.43m as part of a wider deal that has seen over $50m worth of stock controlled by former RS Platou investors traded.
Anker, who led Platou from 1987 until the 2014 merger, offloaded 169,000 shares in the world’s largest shipbroker at GBP 18.40 each.
The broker assumed 508,977 shares in Clarksons following the late 2014 deal, giving him a post-transaction holding of 1.69%.
