Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding (MES) has reported smaller net income for the financial year 2015 although it beat its own guidance.
The shipbuilder said net income to the 12 month-period ended March was JPY 7.6bn ($70.3m) against JPY 9.46bn in the corresponding period of 2014.
Its forecast for the latest financial year was JPY 6bn.
MES’s net income came on revenue of JPY 805.4bn,
