Hamburg shipping asset manager Lloyd Fonds has more than doubled net earnings in the first six months.
It said profit was EUR 1.8m ($1.97m), against EUR 0.7m in the same half of 2015.
The "significant improvement" came from management fee income, particularly in the property sector.
The company expects to post a "sharp increase" in full-year earnings as a result - towards the top of the EUR 2m to EUR 3m range.
