A weak performance from containerships and bulk carriers has brought red ink to K Line’s bottom line for the first quarter.
The Japanese owner swung to a loss of JPY 26.8bn ($258.5m) to 30 June, compared to profit of JPY 10.2bn at the same spell of 2015.
Its operating revenue was down by 27% to JPY 244.6bn while it posted an operating loss of JPY 14.8bn,
