Primorsk International Shipping logged a $67.5m loss in July as a result of impairment charges for its tanker fleet, according to a monthly operating report filed as part of the Russian shipowner’s US bankruptcy.

The company, a shipowning affiliate of Primorsk Shipping (Prisco), said it suffered nearly $69.2m in impairment charges during the month, which saw it receive a judge’s approval of a $215m deal to sell its nine ships to compatriot SCF Group, also known as Sovcomflot.
