Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Holdings says it plans to cut 2,000 additional jobs, or just under 10% of its current workforce.

The Singapore-listed company has already cut 4,000 jobs in China so far this year, according to news agency Reuters.

This latest round of job cuts will take the workforce at Yangzijiang’s four shipyards in China's Jiangsu province to 22,000.
