Divers searching for bodies in the wreck of the Costa Concordia suspended work on Sunday after rough weather caused the vessel to shift.

Bad weather had already delayed efforts to start removing the ship’s bunker fuel, an operation now expected to start later this week.

The search was stopped after instruments on board the ship showed about 3.5 centimetres of movement in six hours, compared with a normal movement of one or two millimetres.
