A panamax bulker owned by Genco Shipping & Trading is facing a safety audit after being detained by the US Coast Guard (USCG).

The 72,500-dwt Genco Acheron (built 1999) was held by authorities in the port of Baltimore, Maryland after the crew was unable to perform a "satisfactory" fire drill, according to a release by the USCG.
