Shipowner Golar LNG is in the process of arranging towage for its laid-up, 125,000-cbm LNG carrier Gandria (built 1977) as the conversion of its Hilli into a floating LNG (FLNG) production unit nears completion.

Details on the timing of the tow have yet to materialise but industry sources say they expect the Gandria to be towed into Keppel Shipyard in Singapore, where it is due to undergo conversion into an FLNG unit, like sistership Hilli.
