DSME has secured a newbuilding order for up to four LNG carriers believed to be from John Fredriksen.
Seoul-listed DSME announced the deal to investors this morning, placing a potential value of KRW 830bn ($726m) on the contract.
It runs to two firm vessels worth KRW 414bn, plus options for two more, DSME said in a statement.
The South Korean shipbuilder says it will deliver the two firm vessels by August 2019, according to a regulatory filing.
