Exmar said it will not go through with a deal that would have seen the gasship owner hive off a piece of its floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) business to Dutch terminal operator Royal Vopak.
The two firms "concluded that these requirements will not be met on the envisaged transaction. Therefore the closing of the FSRU transaction between Exmar and Vopak will no longer be pursued," Exmar said in a press release.
