Belgian shipowner Exmar is focusing on fixing its completed floating LNG (FLNG) production newbuildings and upcoming barge-based floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) after the collapse of a planned merger of part of its business with Dutch terminal operator Royal Vopak.

Exmar chief executive Nicolas Saverys told TradeWinds: “We are very happy with all the contract portfolios we have and we are actively working on employment of both our Caribbean FLNG and the FSRU.”
