Greek shipowner Dynagas has breathed new life into its planned LNG floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) newbuildings in China.
Those close to the project say fresh engineering work has started on Dynagas’ FSRUs for which the company has agreed an order at Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group).
Last year, George Procopiou-led Dynagas was widely linked to an order for up to two FSRUs at the Chinese shipyard for delivery dates in 2019 and 2020.
