Korea Line Corp (KLC) has announced a huge LNG transport contract with Korea Gas Corp (Kogas).

The company said in a filing that a deal worth KRW 1.27 trillion ($1.15bn) has been signed with the domestic energy group.

It will cover a 20-year period until 2037. Other details were not revealed.

In May, KLC contracted two small-scale LNG carriers at Samsung Heavy Industries for around $50m each to supply LNG to Jeju Island in South Korea.
