Norwegian LPG carrier and fertiliser group Yara International has posted weaker second-quarter results as commodity margins decreased.

The Oslo-listed company said net earnings were NOK 699m ($86.28m), compared with NOK 3.07bn in 2016.

EBITDA excluding special items was NOK 2.87bn, down 27% compared with a year earlier, driven mainly by higher energy costs and lower realised prices.

Revenue dropped to NOK 23.47bn
