A departure date for Golar LNG’s first floating LNG (FLNG) production unit appears to be slipping as the company chooses to complete more commissioning work before the vessel leaves for its new home off West Africa.
Sources close to the project say Golar officials have indicated that, while a sailaway this month was still possible, the Hilli Episeyo now looks set to leave Singapore’s Keppel Shipyard in September.
