State-run South Korean gas giant Kogas is open to working with international shipping companies on floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) projects as it moves to break into the business.
Kogas team leader KH Kim tells TradeWinds that “the door is open” to all companies — shipowners, operators or yards — whether they are Korean or foreign.
She reveals that Kogas has already signed an agreement with one international company but says the details remain confidential.
