Wells Fargo says the multiple claims for providing a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) to Ghana may finally be settled.

Citing trade press, analyst Michael Webber says Russian major Gazprom signed a 12-year supply agreement with state-owned Ghana National Petroleum to supply 1.7 million tonnes per year of LNG to the West African nation.

The upshot of the Gazprom deal, Webber says is to "provide some closure to the ongoing and redundant FSRU jockeying" between major players in the industry.
