Japanese shipowner Toda Kisen has picked the domestic Sasaki Zosen yard to expand its LPG carrier fleet.
Brokers said the company has ordered two 5,000-cbm gas ships for hand-over in 2019.
No price was revealed for the contract.
Toda has a fleet of 29 vessels, mainly bulkers and general cargo units, but including two 5,018-cbm LPG ships built in 2010 at Nakatani in Japan.
