A 15-year-old LNG carrier formerly controlled by BP Shipping has been redelivered to Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) on the expiry of its lease and is open for charter.

The steam turbine-driven 138,208-cbm British Trader (built 2002) is in South Korea where it has been renamed Trader.

The ship is under the management of Japanese shipowner K Line in partnership with financial advisor MDT (UK).
