Bangladesh’s Beximco Group has acquired an LPG carrier as it seeks a further expansion of its fleet.
It said in a statement that it had bought an unnamed vessel of 2,700 gt.
Beximco Petroleum will operate the unit on international routes, it added.
The ship is due to arrive in Bangladesh with its first shipment of LPG in December.
Beximco plans to buy two more vessels of a similar capacity, it said.
