Trafigura officially announced that its plans to invest in another vessel-based project to import liquefied natural gas into Pakistan.
As TradeWinds reported in September, Trafigura said it wants to develop a second floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) at Port Qasim.
The announcement comes operations at the Pakistan GasPort Ltd (PGPL) FSRU project kicks off. Trafigura is a minority investor in the project, which uses BW Group's 170,000-cbm BW Integrity (built 2017).
