Anadarko Petroleum has signed a long-term sale-and-purchase agreement to supply LNG to France’s EDF through its Mozambique LNG project.
The Houston-based oil-and-gas producer said the 15-year agreement calls for the supply of 1.2mt of LNG per annum.
“Mozambique LNG is unique in its ability to supply LNG to a variety of geographic locations to serve its customers, and this agreement gives us flexible access to Europe, which is one of our key strategic markets,” said Mitch Ingram, Anadarko’s executive vice president for international and deepwater operations and project management.
