Andreas Martinos-led Minerva Marine has been considering entering the LNG carrier sector.
Industry sources said the privately held Greek owner has been in discussions with shipbuilders about berths, but it is unclear how many were being considered. Talks appeared to be centring on Samsung Heavy Industries.
But those following the business suggest Martinos has pressed pause on the idea and indicated he will not be moving on the ships at present.
