S&P Global Platts plans to launch two new LNG ballast rate assessments for the Asia Pacific and Atlantic basins respectively.
In addition, the pricing agency is seeking feedback on proposals to incorporate these new assessments and update several other components of its LNG netbacks and freight cost calculations.
These proposed new assessments, and proposed amended freight calculations, would take effect from 1 June 2018 if adopted.
