Sudanese natural gas buyer Sunagas is tendering for a floating storage and regasification unit as a quick start-up solution while it pursues a land-based import terminal project.
Sunagas has gone out to pre-qualified bidders asking for offers on an FSRU or any solution that will allow it to supply gas for a planned Port Sudan power station on the Red Sea coast, which is being constructed by Sudanese Thermal Power Generating Co.
