Efforts to sell off seven LNG carriers that make up the main shipping fleet for Australia’s North West Shelf LNG project are set to gear up in the next two months.

Industry players say a data room is due to open this week and inspections are set to be scheduled during the May-June period.

Those handling the sale declined to comment on the process or the interest that had been expressed in the six late-1980s and early to mid-1990s-built ships, and the lone vessel constructed in 2004.
