Energy major Total has begun talks with providers of floating storage and regasification units as it seeks to progress a project in Myanmar.
Industry sources said Total is scouting around for an FSRU with a capacity of between 145,000 and 170,000 cbm and has gone out to shipowners for initial proposals.
The time frame for the unit's delivery remains unclear.
