A delivery date has been finalised for the first LNG carrier in a series of four pioneering but heavily delayed newbuildings at shipbuilder Japan Marine United (JMU).
The first of the quartet — the 165,000-cbm Energy Liberty — is due to be handed over in July to Tokyo Gas-controlled Tokyo LNG Tanker Co. It was originally scheduled for delivery in mid-2017.
